The Vail Jumpers
Dutch bass player Joris Teepe moved to New York in 1992 and has been an important part of the city’s jazz scene ever since. Teepe collaborated with artists like: Benny Golson, Don Braden, Charles McPherson, Bobby Watson, Sonny Fortune, Chris Potter and Randy Brecker. During his career he recorded 19 albums as a bandleader. 'The Vail Jumpers' is the first single out of 2 leading up to the re-issue (and first ever digital release) of his 1998 album 'Firm Roots'.
