L.A. Lights
The diverse Los Angeles based hip hop group The Antidotes (Mark Fader, Jo Well, Phenomenon, Konscious K and Cee Nario) bless your speakers with some feel good music. The Antidotes have been involved in a plethora of international CD releases based in Japan on the record label Goon Trax/Media Factory. These releases include 2 group (The Antidotes: LA Lights, Beat The Classics) LPs, 1 solo (Jo Well: Beautiful Change) LP, and multiple compilations (In Ya Mellow Tone series). Each album successful in it's own right, this musical catalog has spawned countless hits on iTunes Japan, with songs going as high as number 6 ("Got Rhymes") and at one time giving this group 3 songs ("Got Rhymes," "One of a Kind," "Speed It Down") in the Hip Hop top 100 on iTunes Japan. Their music has been featured on some of the internet's most popular hip hop sites (i.e. 2dopeboyz.com, DatPiff.com, MixtapeTorrent.com) and has garnered thousands of downloads and units sold around the world. With the group the “Jalapeno Brothers” some of the members co-wrote and performed the official 2012 election song for Mi Familia Vota for which there was a promotional media tour on television and radio. Working hard in the industry lead to ghostwriting opportunities for major label work. Members of the Antidotes have shared the stage with a variety of quintessential artists like Dom Kennedy, Blu & Exile, George Watsky, Souls of Mischief (Hieroglyphics), Living Legends, Akil of Jurassic 5 and Noah James to name a few.
