Lost Change
Lost Change is the first studio album released by The Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am. The album was released on October 2, 2001, and includes the underground hit "I Am", co-written with Koliyah White. The album was released on October 2, 2001, and boasts a multitude of guests, including Planet Asia, Terry Dexter, Mike Myers, The Horn Dogs, Huck Fynn and Oezlem, Medusa and Madd Dogg. The album is part of BBE's Beat Generation series, along with other albums such as J Dilla's Welcome 2 Detroit, Marley Marl's Re-Entry, Pete Rock's PeteStrumentals, and DJ Jazzy Jeff's The Magnificent. Although classified as an original soundtrack, it is assumed that this is meant in a lateral sense, as it does not accompany any film or movie. A music video was made for the song "I Am", which was also an underground hit, however, no singles were released from the album. The American version of the album contains an additional track, "Warriors", while a reissue of the album on March 21, 2012 contains an additional disc containing an entire instrumental version of the album.
