2012
Jay Sean's new song, '2012 (It Ain't the End),' takes fans inside what would undoubtedly be the world's greatest party... its last. Throughout the new single, Sean asks his followers to seize the day, and "party like it's the end of the world," even if it really isn't the end. With its energetic, electric beat and pulsating dance-floor tempo, '2012' is enough to make even the most reserved of listeners get up, and seize the day. And if that isn't enough, the song also features an appearance from none other than budding hip-hop icon Nicki Minaj, who jumps head first, with a tight burst of rhymes that will certainly do her Cash Money labelmates proud. "I've been wanting to work with Nicki for the longest time," Sean recently told MTV News. "I'm so excited that she's on this song because she absolutely murdered it. She came with a different swagger on it, and a different flow. Just real fun. And her voice just really fits the song." '2012' version featuring Nicki Minaj is expected to be on Jay Sean's upcoming fourth studio album, which is tentatively slated for a Nov. 2 release date.
