The Classic Christmas Album

John Denver recorded a rousing holiday album with the Muppets, but nothing from that can be found on Legacy's 2012 compilation The Classic Christmas Album. This 16-track set splices highlights from 1975's Rocky Mountain Christmas and 1990's Christmas Like a Lullaby, two albums that may differ in production techniques but not in mood. Taken together, this is a warm and sunny collection of holiday cheer (well, with the exception of "Please, Daddy [Don't Get Drunk This Christmas]"), and it will suit anybody looking for a very John Denver Christmas.
