The Worst Taste In Music
Released through Labrador records in early 2006, This was the only single used to promote The Radio Dept's upcoming album. The title track, 'Worst taste in music', later featured on the album 'Pet Grief'. one other song, 'What you sell' and 2 remixes are included on this single. Johan Duncanson, a self confessed fan of Swedish band 'Differnet', asked them to contribute a remix for this single. Differnet are signed to 'Friendly Noise', which is a label that The Radio Dept. have worked with before. Initially released on Labrador records and distributed around Europe from Labradors Swedish base. This was also released in the UK after The Radio Dept. recruited Track & Field to distribute 'Pet Grief'. It wasn't a commercial release in the UK, but given away as a promotional tool. Radio stations, magazines and other mediums were given this release by Track & Field.
