Legacy

We stand on the shoulders of those who came before us. Women like Mary Lamont, who in the midst of the massacre of her Scottish clan in 1646 fled with her four young sons to Ireland and changed each of their surnames to protect them. Her youngest son, renamed Andrew Young, was my great (x9) grandfather. The music of our ancestors - yours and mine - handed down from generation to generation, connects us, defines us, and serves to remind us; of their joys and sorrows, their love and sacrifice, their determination to make a better life for their children. We offer Legacy as a tribute to our families and yours – to those who came before. Steve Young
