Sol Luna Tierra

Bought this CD on a whim after hearing a few minutes of the title track played on the in-store sound system in The Nature Company. It was worth it. Some parts of the music remind me of other things, just a few notes, and that's pretty nice. The rhythm is great, the music has good direction unlike some music in its style, and the composition is truly gifted. (It is not what I would call active listening music, but it is not cheesy background muzak either... it really is a beautiful thing to work or read to!) I am looking forward to the next album from this guy, hopefully he won't ruin his beautiful instrumentals with vocals -- the music speaks already for itself. A voice speaking words could never express what the guitar, drum, and flute can.
