Dreko a.k.a Man On Fire a.k.a Hannibal Lect was born & raised in Baltimore Md. on SEPT.25 1981.[da myth was born]brought up in da streets of one of Baltimore city notorious areas CHERRY HILL[dubbed KILLA HILL] also molded over east BALTIMORES GREENMOUNT area where he discovered his musical ability.Threw lifes many trials & tribulations DREKO was a guy in the neighborhood evrybody looked up to,though he was small in size, his courage,leadership,& never back down attitude helped him survive da streets,& made him the man[artist] u see today. DREKO started a group [DEAD LEGENDS] with 2 of his childhood friends[though he call them his brothas]SKARR-SKARRED 4 LIFE & ONEFACE.THE trio recorded one album together named STRESSFUL BARS which was a hood classic that was never released due to setbacks at the label they where signed too.The three took turns in & out of jail which eventually broke the group up. About 5-6 years later DREKO left the music label due to differences in work ethic;he felt nothing was getting done he wasted his talent.SO he quit music!!! After a long three year seperation DREKO was influenced by several people who new he can actually rap & his new ladyfriend.2007 DREKO committed to himself that if he start rapping again he would put 200% into it this time around because its,all he has left!THIS time its personal its for his kids!!!!!! DREKO linked up with WELDING PROD. who helped him get his first performance since his return,but didnt stick with them long because they were'nt buiness minded or equipped enough for what DREKO had planned.3months after dealing with W.P DREKO had made alotta fans & associates.January of 2008 Dreko & family member BIG B looked into starting a label of there own in which DREKO was negotiating & about to merge their label with one of BALTIMORES most prominent entities ARSONISTS CAMP ENT. ONLY 8 months back on the scene DREKO has shown that he is a force to be wrecken with,he has been nominated rookie of the year,become one of BALTIMORES finest,& releasesd his first ever single album entitled "MAN ON FIRE". Which is full of hit singles such as PRAY ON,MEAN MUGGING[club banger}STR8T RYDA,BALTIMORE RISE,REMEMBER,TALK2ME &many more,DREKO HAS A VERY UNIQUE BUT ORIGINAL STYLE & IT ONLY MAKES HIM MORE DANGEROUS THAT HE'S VERY VERSATILE; trust me"and i quote"HE IS DA MAN ON FIRE!!!!!!
