After releasing the critically-acclaimed Embryonic earlier this year, The Flaming Lips have more new material up their sleeve. On December 22, the group will release The Flaming Lips and Stardeath and White Dwarfs with Henry Rollins and Peaches Ding the Dark Side Of The Moon. The record is said to feature The Flaming Lips and special guests as the disc is their best attempt at recreating Pink Floyd's Dark Side Of The Moon. The release is digital-only and will be available on iTunes on December 22 and other Internet retailers on December 29. The Flaming Lips and Stardeath And White Dwarfs will perform the new album on New Year's Eve at the Cox Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
