Mixed Up World
"Mixed Up World" is a single released by Sophie Ellis-Bextor in 2003 by Polydor Records and taken from her second solo album Shoot from the Hip. It peaked at #7 on the UK singles chart. It was considered somewhat of a success because although it did not chart higher than her first 3 singles, it still gained decent positions on the Irish and Australian charts. The single includes an easy-listening, chillout B-side, called "The Earth Shook the Devil's Hand". A short clip from the video was featured in an ad on Australia's VH1 channel in June 2006 and then in another in September. "Mixed Up World" sold 53,000 copies in the United Kingdom.[1]
