Nowhere, Texas
City and Colour fans can look forward to some new music in time for the holiday season. The Canuck folk-rockers (a.k.a. for Dallas Green’s solo project) has announced the upcoming digital release of a song titled "Nowhere, Texas." According to announcement posted Dec. 4 at City and Colour's official website, the multi-Juno winner will be donating all profits from the song to the YWCA of Canada's Rose Campaign. The organization works to reduce violence against women, increase public awareness and prevent violence before it starts. "Nowhere, Texas" was originally recorded for the ex-AlexisonFire guitarist's 2013 solo album The Hurry and the Harm, but the song was never released. Green cites the 2011 crime film "The Texas Killing Fields" as the song's inspiration.
