Garbage
LA rapper Bones continues to expand his ever-growing, Lil B-esque body of work with his new mixtape, Garbage. The 19-year-old's new project might be the best, most cohesive representation of his lo-fi, Memphis-indebted aesthetic, and if you haven't been properly introduced to his music yet, this may be where you want to start. The melancholic, woozy sound Bones' name has become synonymous with is present everywhere on Garbage. His trademark mix of deadpan delivery and eerie, unpolished singing make up the entirety of the vocals featured on Garbage, and as always the production he uses sounds drowned in drugs and freshly freed from graveyard crypts. Garbage features collaborations with the likes of Spooky Black, Chris Travis, Xavier Wulf and Eddy Baker, and includes a total of 17 tracks. Check out the full project below.
