Go Cat Go!

"To honor the Sixtieth anniversary of "Blue Suede Shoes", New Americana Entertainment has released a tribute album, Go Cat Go!, featuring some of the greatest names in music. Guest artists performing duets with Carl Perkins include: Bono, Johnny Cash, John Fogerty, George Harrison, Paul McCartney, Willie Nelson, Tom Petty and the Heart Breakers, Paul Simon, and Ringo Starr. In addition, the album features Jimi Hendrix and John Lennon preforming "Blue Suede Shoes". Special thanks to the Hendrix family and Yoko Ono for those tracks. Go Cat Go! is destined to become a Rock 'N' Roll classic. Some of the other musicians appearing on this record are: Eric Clapton, Clarence Clemons, Charlie Daniels, Rick Danko, Sheila E., Dr. John, Jesse Johnson, Jim Keltner, Billy Preston, Klaus Voormann and Joe Walsh. This is a piece of “Rock and Roll” history. All profits will go to "The Carl Perkins Center for the Prevention of Child Abuse" , and "Safe and Sound", a campaign that supports foundations that aid in the rehabilitation of the wounded veterans and their families.
