California
It’s time to bring back joy into the life of Amelia Lily! After the disastrous promotion done with her never-released/cancelled debut album “Be a Fighter“, the third finalist in the 2011 edition of The X Factor (UK), is set to rise from the ashes with her highly-awaited new single. Lily finally leaves the Sony Music/Xenomania-ship, and has signed recording contract with Warner Music to release her debut studio album, which if all goes well, will be available on digital retailers later this year. This new stage is about to begin. The lead single is called “California” and debuted exclusively alongside the lyric video on Popjustice on Monday July 7th. The song was co-written by Tim Woodcock and it will be released on iTunes (UK) on September 7th via East West Records and Warner Music. “California” is definitely a cute bop, but not that imrpessive. It’s a feel-good radio friendly song reminds to a typical song for a Disney Channel actress, who becomes singer. A song entirely dedicated to Lindsay Lohan’s film, “The Parent Trap“. You go to London Citay and I’m going to California. Nice comeback baby. The official music video was premiered on VEVO on Friday July 25th.
