High Rise
Chester Bennington加入乐队后首张EP“High Rise”,将于10月8日发行。 Three months after adding Linkin Park vocalist Chester Bennington to the group, alt-rock veterans Stone Temple Pilots announced on Thursday that theyll release a five-song EP next month... under a slightly altered moniker. Stone Temple Pilots with Chester Bennington will release "High Rise" via their own label, Play Pen/ADA, on Oct. 5. The EP includes the groups first single, "Out of Time," which topped the Mainstream and Heritage Rock charts. Bennington made his STP debut in May at the KROQ Weenie Roast. Longtime frontman Scott Weiland was terminated from the "Plush" band in February, leading him to ponder "Not sure how I can be terminated from a band that I founded." The band followed up the firing by suing Weiland in May, accusing him of using the STP identity to promote his solo career. Weiland quickly filed a $7 million countersuit asking a judge to bar them from using the name going forward. Aside from Bennington, the revamped group is comprised of guitarist Dean DeLeo, bassist Robert DeLeo and drummer Eric Kretz. They kick off their first U.S. tour on Sept. 4 at the Sands Casino event center in Bethlehem, Pa.
