Shilpa Sadagopan has been singing since the age of three, and originally started with a basis in Indian Classical Music. After attending the High School for Performing and Visual Arts she began exploring various other genres including Opera, Pop and Jazz. Some of her significant events include singing the National Anthem at an NBA Houston Rockets Game, performing at Jazz festivals in Stavanger, Norway, being a part of the Houston Grand Opera High School Voice Studio and being named as a Texas Young Master in the Arts. Shilpa also writes her own original music, and her influences include Christina Aguilera, Ella Fitzgerald and her background in Indian music. She has attended the Berklee Five Week Performance Program, Grammy Camp LA, and Acappella Academy, and hopes to continue her musical journey while attending the University of Southern California.
