Night Club

Mr. President's 1997 album, "Night Club", is one of the biggest disappointments of my Euro-Dance collection! I have a huge love for Mr. President's other albums ("Mr. President" & "Space Gate") and all of their incredible Euro-Dance hits. They are truly one of Euro-Dance's greatest influences, with their happy-go-lucky party sound. But the huge misstep of the "Night Club" album is unfathomable. The songs are all either 1980's retreads or heavy club thumping tunes. The only decent songs on here are HAPPY PEOPLE(#7) and I WANNA GIVE MY LOVE TO YOU(#10). HAPPY PEOPLE falls more into the COCO JAMBOO/SIMBOLEO category, and it turns out to be a pretty okay summer song. I WANNA GIVE MY LOVE TO YOU is a barely mediocre song that is just an upbeat pop song with a little bit of the well-known Mr. President sound. I bought this album simply to complete my collection of Mr. President's works. However, I strongly don't recommend this album to those expecting the Mr. President sound that we all know and love.
