Trials (Part III) / Daphne
Described as ” wonderful ” by Word and ” dazzling ” by the Sunday Times, the album also received praise from the likes of Drowned in Sound (9/10), Q, Music Week, Organ (album of the week) and Uncut as well as radio plays from Steve Lamacq, Phill Jupitus, Marc Riley and XFM. Their arrangments combine pianos, guitars, strings and horns, building from fragile folk-pop to cinematic post-rock crescendos. Over the past year, their music has been regularly featured on ABC’s award-winning Grey’s Anatomy, winning the band a new following in the US. Tracks have also been used by the BBC and by MTV, who selected Treeology to soundtrack their climate change campaign broadcast across the world.
