Strike Back

Strike Back

Onyx question police brutality on their latest song, "Strike Back." Onyx have been slowly making a comeback over the past year. Sticky Fingaz and Fredro Starr dropped off their #WAKEDAFUCUP project recently, and are already prepping a new project, AAA EP. Against All Authorities, as its title indicates, tackles issues of police brutality and the current tensions between police and citizens. We've definitely seen a lot of rap music take on these social issues since the high-profile deaths of Eric Garner, Trayvon Martin, and most recently Freddie Gray. This particular song is pretty timely given the situation in Baltimore right now, as Onyx encourage people to "strike back." The song is typically tough and grimey, with an appearance from Sick Flow. Pre-order their AAA EP on iTunes now, it's expected to drop on May 5th. If you missed the first single off the EP, which was the title track, listen to it here.
