Graffiti Soul
Graffiti Soul is Scottish rock group Simple Minds' upcoming sixteenth studio album. It will be officially released on May 25, 2009. The band released the artwork for the album in an email announcement sent out on February 13, 2009. According to the announcement, Graffiti Soul was initially written on location in Rome, Sicily, Antwerp and Glasgow. Simple Minds then returned for the first time in almost three decades to Rockfield Studios, near Monmouth in Wales, where the group originally recorded their earlier albums Real To Real Cacophony, Empires and Dance and New Gold Dream. The new album was mixed in Los Angeles by Bob Clearmountain. The album will contain 9 tracks.
