Still Live

As a souvenir of a live show, or as a pointer to understanding an offbeat but global phenomenon, an album by the Ukulele Orchestra will have appeal. The Orchestra has thrilled audiences in sold out theatres and venues worldwide since 1985. Some of the most popular Ukulele Orchestra recordings have been taken from live concerts, the medium in which the Ukes excel: ‘Live in London #1’ and ‘#2’ have captured the spirit of live gigs across the world, enabling us to hear the light hearted but rocking, thundering band, with audiences calling out, giving the listener an audio picture of all the fun and laughter of an evening with the Ukes.
