Slave R3volt

Award winning and nationally acclaimed recording artist Ise Lyfe is releasing his 3rd full length LP: Slave R3volt. After a break to embark on what became a hugely successful release of a book and audio book of his first published work as an author (Pistols & Prayers), Lyfe returns to the Hip-Hop realm with his most vibrant and promising release to date. Recorded almost entirely in Los Angeles, this Oakland, CA native flexes a masterful rhyming skill set over phenomenal production by newcomer William "Steez" Rhodes, along with a classic touch via production cameos by DJ Broadway of Ice Cubes Lethal Injection fame. For his previous Hip-Hop release (Prince Cometh, 2009) Seattle Weekly wrote, "He may someday take over Mos Def's mantle as Hip-Hop's poet laureate."
