Hailing as the self proclaimed "Fathers of Trucker Rock," East Coast Turnaround pushes the limits of country music. They blur the line of traditional Country Music, Rock, and Americana, while blending their sound like a blue collar stew. They appeal to a mass audience throughout the country. "ECT" is made up of a group of five men from the streets of a near abandoned glass town of Jeannette, PA. They sing of the struggles of the blue collar from their hometown and near by the Steel town, Pittsburgh, PA. Much like Johnny Cash they speak the voice of the down trodden and beaten down. Currently signed with Cash Box Records they have managed to chart a #3 hit with their first single release, " "Where's My Sunshine." (Cashbox Country Charts.) Their second release, "Only You," peaked at #9. This is definitely a band with their fingers on the pulse of the nation and without a doubt are in the path of greatness.
