With the help of the BC Music Fund, Juno Nominated artist, DJ A-SLAM, has launched a new group called the “Global Party Starters”. The GPS sound is following in the footsteps of groups like Major Lazer, Tribe Called Red, and Delhi 2 Dublin, combining electronic beats with hip-hop, and cultural influences. Co Founder, MC SatsB has been hyping parties across Canada with his interactive MC Skills. He has also built BlueBand Digital, one of the top digital agencies in Canada, and has help create DesiFest, one of Canada’s largest South Asian Music Festivals. The third member of GPS, DJ REKing, is DJ A-SLAM’s protégé. A new face to the Canadian music scene, his love for house beats brings a fresh spin to the GPS sound. Their debut album, Keep Us On Your Radar, features some of the best in up-and-coming Canadian talent including Sangeeta D, Lady Pista, Shahid AliKhan, Nizzy, Faze, and Anjali. With their signature crossover style, the Global Party Starters are putting a unique spin on EDM ready for the 2017 Festival season.
