Overdressed

This EP is Leo's first recording. It was performed entirely solo on Valentines day 2004. It gained notoriety in the local press and brought him to the attention of Formant Records which, in turn, caused him to collect his Band, Leo & The Mane. They are to release their first full album toward the end of 2007. Overdressed is a collection of 6 early works performed entirely on Piano. Likened to Ben Folds, The Kinks, Pulp and Blur these songs are sincere, intelligent, honest and occasionally amusing. With an informal lyrical style and melodic piano playing, Leo wishes to retrieve the instrument from the "Mire of earnest Singer/Songwriters and Balladeers" as he puts it. Leo has a more traditional approach to Pop music that is to be in evidence on his forthcoming album. As a taster of what to expect, Overdressed is ideal and a worthwile purchase. Enjoy!
