Soul Talking
My childhood was chaos. My parents married each other and divorced each other twice. I’m still not sure how I turned out okay but I do know it has everything to do with the grace of Christ. I got my private pilot license when I was 17 but learned soon after that I didn’t want to be a pilot. During my freshman year of college, I joined the Army Reserve. I got my butt kicked in training but wouldn’t have traded it for the world. It was a great experience. When I was 19, my only sibling, my sister, Jessica, died of a heroin overdose. This rocked my world but got me out of the Army. I’m still trying to figure that one out too. Throughout my life, my dad has struggled with addictions and my mom for her sanity. But somehow, life keeps going and it is finally getting better. I have a beautiful wife that has encouraged me to follow my dream of being a musician. My music is a reflection of my experiences and what I have learned so far from my crazy life. Today there are three things that I am certain of in my life. One - The Kingdom of God is here. Two - My wife is my best friend. Three - I really would love to talk about God and faith with you! Don't be shy! Let’s be friends and share life together. Life is hard, but with a little friendship and music, it can be alright.
