Hadjidakis mixes Turkish themes with Greek bouzouki compositions and more traditional lush orchestral compositions, all to good effect. The main title music ("The Papace Museum") is a delight. Hadjidakis also scored Never on a Sunday, winning an Academy Award for the title song.
