"Listen to Your Heart" is a Pop-dance song written by Stock Aitken Waterman for Sonia's debut studio album Everybody Knows (1990).[1] The single was released in December 1989 as the album's third single. This single reached #10 in UK and #22 in Ireland. This single's B-side "Better Than Ever" didn't appeared on Sonia's debut album. "Listen to Your Heart" was a hit for Sonia. The song was released in December 1989. It entered the charts on 9 December 1989 at number forty-two. The song peaked at number ten five weeks later.[2] "Listen to Your Heart" became Sonia's second top ten hit after her debut single "You'll Never Stop Me Loving You", which reached the top of the UK chart. "Listen to Your Heart" charted in the United Kingdom for ten weeks. In Ireland, the song debuted and peaked on 4 January 1990 at number twenty-two. It charted for only one week.[3] In France, "Listen to Your Heart" entered the charts on 3 March 1990 at number forty-six and reached peak position of number thirty-nine three weeks later. The song charted for six weeks there.[4]
