Ismail Ka Urdu Sheher

Ismail Ka Urdu Sheher (Ismail's Urdu City) is a 12 song music album that is intertwined with a science fiction graphic novel. Each song represents a chapter from the novel. The music album was revealed, accompanied by a graphical novel and a stop motion rotoscope animated music video, to applauding audiences on the 21st Dec, 2015 in the reputable Nueplex cinemas in Karach, Pakistan. The launch show was followed by a live performance. The book (USB included) has been published by Markings and is currently available throughout Pakistan at major book outlets and for foreign audiences, its available for online order through Amazon.com. Keeping future in sight, the book contains the music album and videos in a custom USB. The music album features many of Pakistan's new generation hit stars such as Zoe Viccaji, Sara Haider, Jaffer Zaidi, Abbas Ali Khan, Samra Khan, etc. The project has attracted critical acclaim from its targeted niche and has received positive reviews from most local critics and different mediums of the project have received appreciation and applause at various local music and literary festivals.
