Kidd Young is a big dreamer and a hard worker when it comes down to business. Let's take it back to when Kidd Young was created and how the name "Kidd Young" was established. Back in March, 2004 Cody was walking home from school with his childhood friend Danny, also known as D-Flo. Kidd Young quotes, "D-Flo was listening to a CD of downloaded beats on an old school CD player. After catching the flow of the beats Danny began free-styling and I started getting into it. From that day forward I knew that I wanted to be in the music industry and change the world as an artist. I began practicing and working hard which has got me where I'm today." Since 2004 Kidd Young has put out three mix tapes with his most recent being "STRIPES" which featured D-Flo and was released June 28th 2012.
