Flamingo Nights
Flamingo Nights pays tribute to the legendary Flamingo Club in Soho, London, one of the clubs where the early Modernist (Mod) movement began. Ricky Cool and the In Crowd carry on the tradition of fusing American and Jamaican styles (featured at The Flamingo by Georgie Fame and the Blue Flames) There love of this music is clearly shown on this album and the title track Flamingo Nights pays tribute to the famous club.
