Cheyah Remixed

Last Fall, Gravitas Recordings teamed up with an all star cast of international talent to bring about the first volume of the Neurovation Charity Compilation, with all proceeds benefitting Charity:Water. As a follow up to the smashing success of the compilation, Mr. Bill and the Gravitas crew have joined forces once more to present "Cheyah Remixed", a collection of re-imagined versions from the Cheyah Remix Contest and beyond. This special release is presented for free / pay what you want, with all profits again being donated to help bring clean water to developing nations around the world. The album kicks off with the title track "Cheyah", showcasing Mr. Bill's meticulous talent with evolving percussion and big room synth stabs. The grand prize winner of the remix contest Haywyre brings a jazzy feel with his standout offering. French producer CloZee focuses in on the glitchy aspects of the original, building fresh rhythms with chopped melody and organic aural additives. Psymbionic & Great Scott tag team their remix, fusing their styles to create a tune that's both dancefloor and headphone worthy. Hailing from the land down under, Australian GRUFF delivers it fast and heavy with his midtempo take. Anchored in deeper vibes, Osiris & Sooko's ethereal contribution evokes vivid emotion, as Somatoast switches things up with a psychedelic dub closer for the album.
