Blaudzun

Singer-songwriter Blaudzun, named after a well known Danish cyclist, writes dreamy indie songs, wrapped in sober arrangements that through his remarkable voice and the haunting melodies get an almost ecstatic atmosphere. In 2007 he worked on a special collection of songs, originally intended to be a soundtrack for a midnight car drive. The songs were recorded in a small bedroom, with additional hotelroom recordings in Barcelona and studio sessions in the Netherlands. Inspired by love and lies, autumn sun and summer nights at the beach, these tunes are breathtaking. His self-titled debut is an album on which melancholy and hope argue with each other, to finally end in an intense embrace.
