by William Ruhlmann Loggins And Messina's five-year partnership produced five albums of original material, one album of covers, a greatest-hits album, and, with this post-breakup release, two double-LP live albums. The first of them, 1974's On Stage, displayed their concert abilities at the height of their career. This one, a profit-taking redundancy probably released because double-live albums were fashionable in the wake of Peter Frampton's Frampton Comes Alive, chronicles their less-interesting last couple of years. Songs are contracted into medleys to get them over with, and even the ones at full-length are better heard on the studio albums.
