It has been a long road for Kazer. A road that has lead him to a decision of a lifetime. Born and raised in San Antonio, he grew into a very versatile and talented artist. He began making music in 2002 at the early age of 16 while still in high school. Surrounded by a life of drugs, mischief, and a broken family, he fell into the wrong life and did not make it to graduation. Music was his only escape so he continued to maintain a constant flow and was determined to make the best of it. At the age of 18, he found himself lost and bouncing from house to house, so he moved to the Rio Grande Valley along side his brother. Shorty after moving he was introduced to popular rap group that went by the name “G’d Up”. The group decided to pick up Kazer as a member and together they became one of the valleys first local recognized talents. As G’d Up they dropped many albums/mixtapes that you might know such as; “The Take Over”, “The Take Over 1.6”, “Texas Tippin”, and “Road to the Majors”. After years of working together the group slowly turned into a new label in 2009 known as “DOEPHEENS”. Later picking up another artist Young Ace. Kazer and Young Ace together dropped “The Diagnosis”, “Street Fever”, “Bout2Burn”, “Self Made Player”, "Like I Never Left”, “The Addiction”, “The Treatment”, and “Bout2Burn2”. Along the way doing many shows and opening up for many large names. Kazer was building a name to remember. Then, it all began to change. He began to feel different. The messages in his music started to seem pointless, negative, and repetitive. God was slowly working in his heart. He was filled with fear not knowing the outcome of what would happen or what he would lose. “The signs were everywhere and obvious. I couldn’t ignore what I believe was my calling” . Then one day he made the biggest decision of his career as an musician. He decided to give his music to God and has now become a Christian Artist. “God has given me a talent that i took for granted. Now i will use it in a new direction and hopefully reach the hearts of millions. I know I’m not perfect but God is going to use me to change many. I’m ready"
