Unorganized Love
"Unorganized Love" is the sophomore effort of Northland. Joshua Engler (Northland) is more lyrical than ever, with a record strongly derived from many different styles. Engler's unique connection with emotion through music as a medium is more adamant and definitive than his original debut "Highlights & Shadows". The charisma and never ending expressions of individuality are apparent throughout the album. Unorganized Love is about the battle humans face with labels. A society that puts things into boxes tends to stereo-type out the individualistic nature in personal expression. The fight to gain a unique place in the world is a battle that most humans will find themselves in the middle. Love is often best expressed and received in an unorganized format, at unexpected times.
