From Science To Ritual
This cassette was included with the Italian VIVA magazine, N°10 Primavera 1983 issue, titled "Viva Noir". It contains tracks from the concerts at "Als Bar" (24 April 1982 - A2/A6) and "Sala Borromini" (11 December 1982 - A7 and B1/B4) plus one song from the concert at Oddfellows Hall (24 April 1981 - A1). The tracklisting is not correct here and there, there are at least a pair of never heard elsewhere tracks. The folder contains a booklet about SPK (4 only folded sheets with b/w photos and text); a postcard with the issue title and summary ; a sort of portfolio with 2 articles called "Graven Image" (about the Damiens Trial, 1757, and other facts) and "Stilleben", both by Sandro Bergamo, with photos; plus their main folded cover: "About the Valley of Ultrasadism" with two s/m photos and info about Come Organisation and something more. The folder itself is well printed inside too. Everything came inside an ordinary light plastic bag bringing a small white tag machine-printed: "Contiene C-60 Live/SPK From Science To Ritual". It was a strictly Limited Edition but some cassette copies were distributed without magazine. The cassette itself brings 2 white stripes on the upper parts of each side as labels, xeroxed in black big letters and stating "From Science.. A" and "..To Ritual B"; the case must be black and the cover silver printed on a black background; the ink is clearly silver and in some copies the printing may be not perfect in every small detail because of the ink type. Tape and magazine were distributed by Bain Total under catalog number K 17 It was later un-officially re-released, this is the only official release.
