Return to Evermore
Mostly recorded between January and April 2004, Ten's Return To Evermore is an excellent rock album with great tunes and a full-on guitar sound, which is surely what it's all about, right kids? Probably the most intense sessions guitarist Chris Francis has been associated with. Never ones to compromise an inch on quality, dedication or attention to detail, the band simply put in the over-time, which involved a few thirteen and fourteen hour days and some real late nights with a lot of coffee and junk food. It was also the project that christened vocalist Gary Hughes' new Arena Studios. Francis intentionally went for a more technical approach to the leads on this record, with the highlights being "Even The Ghosts Cry", "Sail Away", "Lost Soul" and "Temple Of Love'".
