Everyone's Infected
"Can you spell - GO HARD!!!!" - rap artist Kevin "Kaoz" Moore speaking on "Everyone's Infected." Producer/composer and songwriter Eddy J. Free delves into the world of dubstep on his eighth album of original material since 2010's "Mad City 2010," an album critically acclaimed by DJs and reviewers for its underground hip-hop beats mixed with electronic dance tracks which raised funds for the Keep A Child Alive organization. On "Everyone's Infected," which was inspired by "The Walking Dead" TV show, you can clearly hear the evolution in Eddy's production and writing. Showing his production chops on the tracks "Learning to Survive" and "Zero Tolerance" and others, Eddy goes where we've never heard him go before. Meanwhile, on "ATL/CDC," Eddy goes back to his hip-hop roots and is joined by emcees Michael Jayce and Steezo Crooks while on the final track "Hold On Through The Night," Eddy brings us one of his strongest songs yet, a heart-wrenching ballad about surviving the apocalypse with vocals delivered by accomplished soul singer Cleveland Jones.
