I'm Not Sure About Elvis
We barely say hello these days when we meet at the door and the feeling that we once called love ain't around no more And polite conversations turn to bickering instead I'm not sure about Elvis but I'm sure our love is dead We use to eat together do nice things when we first met Now I eat dinner on a stool in a lonely luncheonette It's been so long since you've worn the look of love to bed I'm not sure about Elvis but I'm sure our love is dead Bridge We wait so long for love to come and then one day it's here Then like an unsolved mystery it strangely disappears Well our love has left the building and there's no tears left to shed I'm not sure about Elvis but I'm sure our love is dead Someone said they spotted us kissin' at the mall I said that's impossible we never kiss at all We can't even impersonate two people who still care I'm not sure about Elvis but I'm sure that we weren't there
