This Is Deladap

“This Is DelaDap“ is the title of the new, sixth album by Vienna based DelaDap, an exceptionally strong release impressively marking the tenth anniversary of a creative journey that started in 2004 with their first album „Cigani Rusza + Angelo“. Sure, as always, there was a lot of hard work involved on the behalf of Vienna-based DJ producer and musician Stani Vana, the man at the centre of the DelaDap experience untill these 10 new songs sounded exactly as convincing and catchy as they do now. And, also as usual, there was a stellar cast of musicians involved, coming from Austria, Czech Republic, Iran or Bosnia, countries all sharing a historical connection with Austria´s capital Vienna that has lately developed into a vibrant and diverse cultural melting pot – something that can be heard in the grooves and textures of DelaDap´s new songs. At the very core of the album is, as the title suggests, the live band DelaDap that awed audiences all over the world with their stage-craft and musical abilities: Stani Vana – Dj / Tania Saedi – Voc. / Alen Dzambic – Acc. / Christof Zellhofer – Trump. / Mathias Auinger – Drums // With „This Is DelaDap“ building on 2013´s „Made In Mexico“ (a sort of „greatest hits“ package that helped shaping the then new line up´s sonic vision) DelaDap are really eager to share their strong new songs with an audience, on stage, in real time. As irresistible songs like „I Know“, „Cash and Chaos“ or „One Goal in The End“ are in their recorded form, developing Tania Saedi´s unique vocal phrasing and lyricism as new strengths, it´s the live-setting where these songs and this band really prosper – „This Is DelaDap“!
