Her natural ability to sing introduced her to the stage at the tender age of three. Katrin began playing the violin at age seven and sang in choruses and musicals throughout her school-age years. After graduating from highschool, Katrin learned how to play guitar and discovered songwriting as her mode of self-expression. Since then she has been writing and performing in area clubs, coffeehouses and festivals around New England. Katrin's musical efforts have taken her as far as the Fringe Arts Festival in Edinburgh, Scotland; a venture funded by busking in the streets of Harvard Square. Katrin uses many different guitar tunings that weave her voice and music into a lush tapestry. Her powerful stage presence and spiritual nature bring a unique quality to her performances. Katrin has been well recieved by audiences both as a solo artist and gigging with her rock band.
