In November of 2006, this group of talented individuals came together to form the praise and worship team at their local church in Henderson, North Carolina. For nine years they sang faithfully for the Lord and the ministry. In 2015, they decided to step out on faith and pursue their dream of becoming a recording artist and formed what is now known as the group Reign. The group consist of identical twins Diane Thorpe and Joann Stainback, along with their children Dione Allen and Matthew Melchoir. Although they are in the early stages of what looks to be a very promising singing career, they have one major accomplishment that they are extremely proud of: They were awarded the best showcase artist at the 2015 Luther Barnes Fall Classic which was held in October in Rocky Mount North Carolina. They have recently adopted a group slogan which is Reaching Everyone In God’s Nation or to keep it short, REIGN. Reign's music is a new age contemporary style that mixes the art of rap, soulful medley, with the live band experience.
