Characterized by intimate lyricism and wit, the featured works evoke a diverse range of moods. Mario Sollazzo was born in Naples on March 30, 1974. He graduated from the Conservatory of Santa Cecilia in Rome in Piano and Chamber Music. He also has bachelors in philosophy from the University of Rome. He continued his piano studies at the Misikhochschule of Detmold in Germany. He is a pianist, clavichord player and opera composer.
