Circa Audio are proud to introduce Anku with his debut 4 track EP, Explosion. Hailing from Greece, Anku is determined to leave his mark within the dubstep scene. The title track Explosion is not for the faint hearted. With its dangerous kick, hard hitting snare and aggresively driven bass, you will soon find yourself screw facing on the dancefloor. The sinister synths and un-nerving pads gives the track its explosive vibe and energy. The second track, King Solomon, opens with a dark and gritty vibe. The intro is soon followed by Ankus trademark style of hard driven phased bass and warps. The face slapping snare has a very distinctive dubstep feel to it while the sub bass wraps up King Solomon to leave you feeling hyped and ready to press repeat. Lucid Dream, the third track on the EP, starts with a hypnotic and deep intro, giving the impression of a calm and tranquil vibe, however, this soon changes. The heavy kicks and sharp snares soon wake you up and with the aggressive structure and warped style bass, Lucid Dream is anything but calm. Skitso finishes up the EP with his remix of the title track, Explosion. The immediate change is the tempo. Giving it a drum and bass make-over, adding a new style to the EP. Keeping certain original elements, Skitso captures the vibe of Explosion while putting his own twist on it. With the distorted driven basses and classic drum breaks, this remix is sure to get your head nodding.
