Osiemnastka (Eargasm God Remix)
For the past 10 years he's been regularly making the Polish dance floors red-hot. He's played top venues, open-air festivals and corporate events. His approach to delivering the music is a very dynamic one, often sprinkling his sets with various kinds of scratch or other sound effects. One of his defining characteristics is an intriguing way of combining differing musical genres together. His forte are mash-ups juxtapositions of several, sometimes entirely different, songs, into completely new tracks and, more often than not, those mergers are real party-rockers. All bets are off in a mash-up mix you mix pop with disco, drum'n'bass with twist, or rap with dancehall. Quite frequently those mixes rely on a thick, funky groove, where James Brown meets Beastie Boys, bringing a unique mixture of street music to dance to, in a contemporary form. Trakmajster also likes to reach out for new, club sounds with aggressive bassline and hardhitting drums. Those who crave for some "electric" experience will find delight in his dishes served of baltimore, speed garage, bassline, house, drum'n'bass or dub step. One thing is for certain these are all fantastic tracks to dance to. In 2010 he recorded, using a DIY/homebrew method, a track called "Gdzie Jest Zbyszek?" ("Where Is Zbyszek"), which has been followed by a video shot during one of his own parties. The video itself went viral and amassed over a 1'000'000 views on YouTube in just a few months' time. On special occasions, the song is performed live, bringing the audience to a frenzy. This year Trakmajster took part in a highly-respected contest by Red Bull for "The Best Party Rocker in Poland" - and his own, twisted ideas have earned him a third place in the competition.
