Girl on the Hill
Sadie is a young Melbourne-based singer-songwriter who is charming audiences with her unique voice, fresh lyrics and outstanding musicianship. In 2014 Sadie won the Minstrel Award for song-writing and performance at the Maldon Folk Festival, the youngest to win the prize in its 10 year history. Sadie’s debut album was released in 2015, part-funded by her Maldon Minstrel Award. Sadie raised additional funds through her own crowd-sourcing campaign. The album features a fantastic line-up of musicians performing her original songs and was mixed by Mark Woods of Bald Hill Studio. “The amazing new kid on the block, Sadie and her band. She's also performed at gig venues including the Flying Saucer Club (Elsternwick), the Wesley Anne (Northcote) and Sooki Lounge (Belgrave).
