Get Up

To kick off 2016, De-Fine music welcomes 27 Year old, UK producer 'Senshi' to the team, with an original track entitled 'Get Up', accompanied by two remixes from De-Fine Music's very own Grant James & Paul Jackman. The original mix is an energetic number gaurenteed to get any dance floor occupying house ravers, moving. The drop introduces us to a warm yet prominent bassline, accompanied by dark brass stabs, carefully cut vocal samples and short sharp ambient synth sounds that immediately let's us know we're about be taken on a 7 minute musical journey. With breakdowns that'll have you with your hands in the air and skippy percussion that'll no doubt have your toe tapping, its almost a certainty that you will be enjoying yourself when you hear this on a night out. Grant James' remix is a brilliant twist on the original track. Carefully implementing elements of the original track, whilst adding moody atmospheric synth sounds that weave around an early 90s house style drum pattern, with skippy 909 snares and a deep, yet upbeat bassline lay the foundations that'll make anybody shake a leg or two on the dance floor! And last but not least, ending the EP on a strong note, we have Paul Jackmans take on the original track. This remix follows suit and yet again brings pure energy with its rolling drums & percussion. Although the energy doesn't faulter with this remix, Pauls takes us down a slightly different route during the breakdown while combining deep and dark elements alongside the vocal and ambient sounds. Definite banger!
