Tawantinsuyo

Tawantinsuyo is the second release of the chilean electronic band, Richter & Mercalli. It was created in 2006 as the soundtrack of the chilean-italian documentary "Tawantinsuyo: viaje entre lo profano y lo sagrado." The title refers to the Inca Empire and it's starting point: the temple of the sun named Inti Kancha. A unique atmosphere with classic sounds of the andean culture and elements of contemporany electronic music, it creates a journey from the heights of the Andes to the deepest valleys of the extincted empire. Just like an old story lost for years and uncovered again, this album has resurfaced and today is available for exploration. Start your journey back and forth in time, from one culture to another, from one belief into a new one.
